Disney Memories of a Lifetime Sweepstakes

The Disney commercial I shot in January at Walt Disney World with Erika Lehmann is now up on the myLifetime.com site, and after months of anticipation, it's so hard to believe that people are actually seeing it now.  I've had friends and family call or email me with comments, but I've yet to see it on air since I've led the glamorous life of a mom today.  (My youngest woke me up last night by vomiting in my bed...quite the antithesis of the carefree "Andi" on the commercial, right?)

 

Even though I look super goofy making fun of my thumbs-up pose I always gave, I finally found this great photo of Erika and David -- our creative director and producer. (He took all the photos I've been sharing with you..except this one!)

Between laundry loads, I have enjoyed reading Erika's account of the week on the LifetimeMoms.com site. It was fun to see what she thought was exciting, unusual, unexpected or amazing about our surreal experience together. The biggest blessing out of this entire project was getting to meet and become friends with Erika, her precious daughter, Audrey, and her mom, Lisa. Erika and I are very much alike in many ways, and it was neat that -- without knowing us or our not knowing each other --  the producers chose us to do this together.  We were suppose to "act" like we had known each other for years..and it felt as if we had.

 

 

The people who were responsible for this production from the executives, directors and producers to the technicians and assistants were all first-rate, and I'm so thankful to call them friends now.  They constructively yet politely gave us instruction concerning their collective vision, and I was even surprised by what they could get out of me.  (I love it when I become a better person as result of someone else using their gifts and talents.)  I liked what they brought out in me, and I can't always say that about everyone I meet.
